God loves you.  The Bible tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten So, that whosoever believes in His should not perish but have eternal life.”  (John 3:16)  God also has a plan for your life and it is a good plan. (Jeremiah 29:11)  He tells us in John 10:10 that he has come “that we may have life, and that we have it more abundantly.”

Truth says, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”  (Romans 3:23-24) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 6:23) “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

If you would like to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life it will mean you surrender your life to live a life for Him.  If this is the desire of your heart you can cry out from your heart to Father God and He will hear you.  As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. (James 4:8).

You can begin today to live the life you were created to live.  In Christ we have eternal life and life more abundantly because of His great love.  If today you chose to repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ here are some ways you can grow as a Christian.

Be a part of a local church.  (Colosians 3:16)

Study the Bible (Psalms 119:105 & Timothy 2:15)

Be baptized - this identifies you as “with Christ” (Acts 8:35-40)

Fellowship with other Christians (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Make prayer a part of your daily life (Matthew 6:6-14,Luke 11:2-4)

Share your faith with others (Acts 1:8, Matthew 10:32, 2 Timothy 1:8)

We have been given a great helper in the Holy Spirit.  Jesus told us in John 16:13-15 that “He [Holy Spirit] will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.  He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.  All that belongs to the Father is mine.  That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.”

You will never be alone, the Spirit of the living God is with you and in you (John 14:17).  If you would like to know more about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ you can contact us
