WE TRAIN
We train to win the prize set before us, not a prize that will perish, but an eternal prize.
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.
25 Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
26 Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.
27 But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].
WE TRAIN is fueled by this entire understanding, that God has a specific and unique purpose or call in each one of our lives. MOA is here for guidance, leadership, and accompanying others along their journey of finding their God given potential, walking out their steps of faith, and strengthening their purpose within the body of Christ. For God has “called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” (2 Timothy 1:9).
This training program is designed for those people who are looking for an intensive, full on training of the heart, mind, spirit and body. WE TRAIN 24-7. 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We believe 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 gives us a good reason to make the WE TRAIN program 24-7.
